Upside--no more distractions with applications and chat and mail, like on Facebook and MySpace. Could go back to just having the one e-mail address, and let that be the end of it.
Downside--no way to lock out the prying eyes of students.
The debate rages on.
solution: Make your blog private. Invite only certain people to read it. No prying eyes of students. You can do this in the "permissions" section of "settings."

i dont use my name in my blogger. i recently had an issue with a "follower" hence the new blogspot. if you leave your name out of your account you cant be googled. at least i dont think... let me check to be sure
